LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS IN SPAIN!

Well the time has come and we are all in awe and not really believing that 4.5 months has passed us by so quickly. Honestly I am in shock doing laundry and sitting on my bag to make sure it will close with everything I have accumulated here, but as they say everything always has to come to an end.

Even though we were not home for Thanksgiving we made sure to have a big celebration here all together. We were each other's families for these months and have all gotten very close, so we had a blast preparing the dinner. Everyone brought a dish to pass and something to drink and we had almost everything we would have had at home. Gravy was very difficult to find here, so we improvised the same went for the ingredients to make the green bean casserole and cranberry sauce but we made it work. We hung out drank some awesome Spanish wine and ate until we could not walk anymore. The only thing that we missed was the lions losing like always and it would have made it a perfect football thanksgiving day for us here in Spain.

I also wanted to share a picture of the ladies I have been doing what they call "Intercambio" here. We all get together and go out for appetizers, the movies, or a beer and switch on and off with English and Spanish. This way they get to help us become more fluent and we do the same for them. We ended up getting very close with them and I will miss hanging out while at home.

We had an american night for Tyler's 22nd birthday last week as well and all headed to Domino's for dinner. Not the best pizza I have had here yet, but I am so ready to try some authentic Italian Pizza next week when we arrive in Italy :)

Now it is time to pack everything up and head out! Leaving for France on saturday and then off to Italy the next week. I am so excited to come home and see everyone as well and am counting down the days for Christmas with lots of snow and love from everyone I have missed so very much!
